Detail from pic 2.  Note the skilful use of geometric form, with an inset decorative "tiled" effect in the lower of the two triangles contrasting with the warm simplicity of the rectangles and squares of the brickwork.  The addition of an elaborate frieze with spirals below it, far from overcomplicating the effect, somehow serves to unify the whole.  A small masterpiece.    Next
